Ken and I sincerely hope that you had an enjoyable Xmas and that 2005 will prove to be healthy, peaceful and prosperous for you all.
The Christmas party went well as usual with Phillip Cribb showing us his CD on the Wildlife of Spelthorne. The raffle made £66 for funds. On Sunday December 12th Clive Lacey led 12 members around St James’s Park on a very cold morning. He was a mine of information about the wildlife, buildings, features and sights aound the park. Everyone really enjoyed the morning and look forward to him repeating the walk in the spring to see the flowers in bloom. On January 1st 26 members enjoyed Jeanne Faucherre’s walk in Windsor Great Park, and the refreshments afterwards provided the icing on the cake – a good start to the New Year!
